GIOVIVO – here are Muriel and Fabian, boundless musical diversity and a whole lot of “joie de vivre”. Since childhood, music has been the great constant in the lives of the two thoroughbred musicians, who have been making music together as a duo since 2019. For both of them, GIOVIVO is an expression of their passion, a lifelong dream and a vocation at the same time. Together they celebrate their love of music and are reluctant to be pigeonholed into musical categories. They prefer to make every performance an unforgettable experience, supported by up to eight instruments and ingenious changes of style.
Muriel Zeiter – Musical All-Rounder
Muriel Zeiter has probably been making music since she could crawl. Not wanting to practise is not a feeling the native of Upper Valais knows. She still works away daily at her repertoire, which in the meantime has reached an impressive breadth and depth. Seemingly effortlessly, Muriel switches from the piano to the violin, to the flute, to the saxophone and skilfully glides from one musical style to the next. As versatile as she is flexible, Muriel is something like the musical treasure trove of GIOVIVO and perfectly complements her partner Fabian with her creativity.
Fabian Bloch – World-Class Euphonium Player
The euphonium. Fabian Bloch’s life is shaped by his love of this extraordinary instrument. Since his earliest youth, the man from Solothurn has been fascinated by this 19th century brass instrument, so much so that he set his musical ambition to one day becoming one of the world’s best euphonium players. Goal achieved. Today, Fabian inspires as the innovative force behind the integration of the euphonium into the music of GIOVIVO and provides sounds on stage that are as soft as deep – regardless of the musical style.
